This page explains what this site collects, what it does not collect, and what third parties may do when advertising is served.
What you type into a calculator
Nothing. Every calculation runs in your browser using JavaScript loaded from this domain. The numbers you enter are never transmitted, never logged, and never stored on a server.
Cookies
This site does not set its own cookies for tracking, and it does not load analytics scripts that profile you across sites.
Advertising is different. When ads are served, Google and other third-party vendors may set cookies or use similar technologies. Those cookies are set by the vendor, not by this site, and they are described below.
Third-party advertising
This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies, web beacons or similar technologies to measure ad performance.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices. Opting out does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, advertising cookies are only used after you give consent through a consent message shown on the page. That message is provided by a Google-certified consent management platform. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request data for every visit: IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp and response status. This is used for abuse prevention and capacity planning, is retained for approximately 30 days, and is not used to build profiles or sold to anyone.
Analytics
If aggregate analytics are enabled, they are cookieless and do not fingerprint individual visitors. No cross-site tracking identifiers are created.
Requests about your data
Write to hello@lumocal.com. Because this site holds no personal data beyond short-lived server logs, most requests resolve to a confirmation that nothing is stored about you.
Changes to this policy
This policy is updated whenever the way the site handles data changes, and the effective date below changes with it. Material changes are described on the site rather than made quietly.
